Lukas van Loggerenberg has again produced a beautiful range with his 2022 wines. Lukas has been releasing his wines since 2016 and as a former South African 'Young Winemaker of The Year', expectations and excitement are increased with each new vintage... and always more fulfilled than ever.

Lukas' passion lies with the Loire grapes, so his focus in white is also on two beautiful Chenin Blancs.

The Van Loggerenberg Trust Your Gut 2022 is richer and more powerful than 2021 with a beautiful finesse and an alcohol of only 12.3%. His Van Loggerenberg Kameraderie 2022 comes from two vineyards in Swartland planted in 1966 and 1980. Partly fermented in concrete, making this a sleek wine. is with a lively acidity.

In red, finesse and elegance dominate in Lukas.

He produces two magnificent Cinsaults. The Van Loggerenberg Geronimo 2022 shows expressive aromas of red and black berries, rose, fynbos, mint, a touch of pomegranate and spices. The Van Loggerenberg Lötter 2022 comes from the second oldest red vineyard in South Africa, planted in 1932. An intense wine with a firm structure and pure fruitiness. Unfortunately, the 2022 is already completely sold out, but we still have some 2021 available for enthusiasts!

As a fanatic Loire lover, Lukas also makes a beautifully pure Cabernet Franc. The Van Loggerenberg Breton 2022 has firm tannins and a magnificent spiciness that provides a beautiful freshness. A pure benchmark for Cabernet Franc in South Africa.

The Van Loggerenberg Graft Syrah 2022 has incredible complexity and finesse, and has already been awarded 5* in the Platter's Wine Guide.

The only blend in the range, the Van Loggerenberg High Hopes 2022 is a concentrated wine with a refreshing acidity. A blend of Syrah, supplemented with Grenache and Cinsault - reminiscent of a top Southern Rhöne blend.
