The Basic Wine Course: become a wine connoisseur in 6 lessons! by Elvama is a good introduction to wine that provides an overview of different parts of the wine world in 6 lessons of approximately three hours.

Customized tastings
Elvama's Masterclass South Africa gives you a detailed look at wine growing in South Africa. We give this masterclass on request for groups on location or in Elvama's Tasting Room in Roeselare.

4 times a year we organize a masterclass where we delve into a specific topic of the South African wine industry.

Your teachers
Sebastian
Sebastian obtained his Bachelor of Science - Viticulture and Oenology degree from the University of Stellenbosch followed by a PhD in Oenology. He produces The General's Gin and a small amount of his own wine in Stellenbosch. He is busy with the DipWSET training.
Margaux
After completing her Masters in Agricultural Economics at the University of Stellenbosch, Margaux returned to Belgium in 2015 to strengthen the family business and has since trained as a Sommelier at the Contemporary Flemish Wine Institute. She is currently busy with the DipWSET training.
