GLENWOOD

Developed from scratch since 1984, GlenWood has established itself as a sought-after wine producer in local and international markets. They have 25 ha under vine from which produce some 90,000 bottles annually, adhering strictly to sustainable farming guidelines, applying best labour practices and protecting our indigenous fynbos. The farm is surrounded by stunningly beautiful natural scenery.

DP Burger the winemaker and manager of the vineyard is passionate about Glenwood wines, and has seen Glenwood develop as a vineyard right from the beginning. He seeks perfection in his wine making, and with his Glenwood Chardonnay Vignerons Selection picking up Decanter Gold Medals in past years he is not far off! Using new French Oak as well as toasted barrels, his understanding of cooperage is second to none.
